I love anything that doesn't require sifting through a manual or installing tons of software - and this webcam is just that. I simply plugged it into the USB and the microphone port and it was ready to go. Couldn't be easier! No waiting or tech knowledge required!
The design is great, I love the round shape and the way that it hooks securely right onto my laptop is really convenient. Not only that, but you can angle the camera in just about any direction, which works really well when my kids and I are trying to video chat and they are moving around or down low and I want to quickly point the camera at them.
I haven't had any problems with the microphone or the picture quality - there is a focus wheel right on the side to make things perfectly clear.
My last webcam was in the $80 range because we thought a higher price meant better quality but I could barely use it because it was constantly freezing up and sending a choppy image or no sound at all. For only $11.99, this one is a steal!

No matter what I did, none of my computers would recognize it (Toshiba running Windows7, Dell running WindowsXP, Acer running WindowsXP, and a Sony running Windows7). I finally gave up, and sent it back for a refund. Went and purchased a Logitech with the same features, and was comparable in price, and didn't have a problem with it at all. Strange.
UPDATE 4/23/12 (Changed my rating from a one star, to a five)!
Initially, I had written the above [negative] review of this webcam. However, once I noticed that Will Ford from Kinobo left an email address to contact him under my review, I did so immediately. He expressed his sincerest apologies since I was unable to get the webcam to work, and stated that it must have been a defective webcam. Without hesitation, Will Ford from Kinobo stated that he would send me out a second webcam, since he was sure that the first one was defective. Approximately 20 days after contacting Will Ford from Kinobo via email, I received the new webcam in the mail. As soon as I got it, I plugged it into my computer (running Windows 7, and into my other computer running XP), and it works flawlessly on both computers! Both of my computers were able to recognize the device right away, the picture looks great, the inbuilt mic seems to be working great, the "lense conver" is also a great addition, and I really like how it has a rubber stand so I can attach it to my screen (which keeps it from falling, sliding, or scratching my computer)! I have ZERO complaints about the webcam now.
All in all, I must say that it is rare to find companies that truly care about their customers and don't go back on their word. If I had to do it all over again, I would. There is also no doubt in my mind that if I ever need a product that Kinobo makes, I will be purchasing the brand again. Thank you so much Kinobo and Mr. Ford, for your willingness to ensure that I was a happy customer it is greatly appreciated-you have just earned yourself a life-long customer, and one who is willing to spread the word about your exceptional customer service and wonderful product to family, friends, fellow Amazon buyers, and anyone else who is willing to listen! I bought this webcam for use with skype. I have used it every day for about a month and have found no problems at all.
Pro's:-
1 - Neat, robust little unit. The camera's rubberized mount fitted securely on my flat screen monitor (no fixings required).
2 - Installation was a doddle. Just plugged in the microphone and USB cables and my Windows XP operating system recognized the webcam and installed the drivers. The camera was ready to use within minutes of being unpacked.
3 - The camera does not require focusing and produces a sharp image.
4 - A simple lens cover, operated by a slide lever covers the lens for privacy if required.
5 - Value for money.
Cons :- None
